I’m reading a Sci Fi series, The Xenogenesis Trilogy by Octavia E. Butler, and there’s an alien species that basically goes to sleep during puberty.
Except it’s called metamorphosis.
And today my brain said, after yet another nap, maybe I’m going through a metamorphosis.
Maybe, Brain.
Just maybe.

I’m still coughing. And still snotty. And still have a sore throat, but it’s all LESS, which is great.
I just wish it would move slightly faster.
Actually, I wish I could just press a button and it all went away immediately.
But since it’s out of my control, I’ll let it go.
